Puzzle books designed for calm focus, screen-free relaxation, and quiet moments of mental clarity.
What we make
Quiet Pages Publishing creates puzzle books designed for calm focus, screen-free relaxation, and quiet moments of mental clarity. Right now, that means one series done exceptionally well: Slow Hours Sudoku.
Every volume is built around 100 uniquely generated puzzles. No two grids are the same within a volume, and no puzzle is ever reused across volumes. When you pick up a new Slow Hours book, you get a genuinely fresh set of challenges.
Why we exist
There are plenty of Sudoku books in the world. Most of them feel assembled rather than designed — inconsistent difficulty, crowded layouts, recycled puzzles. Quiet Pages was started to fix that.
We believe the physical puzzle book is worth preserving. It asks something simple of you: attention. No notifications, no battery life, no blue light. Just a grid, a pencil, and a few minutes of genuine quiet.
How the puzzles are made
Each puzzle in the Slow Hours series is generated algorithmically and verified to have exactly one valid solution. Difficulty tiers — Easy, Medium, and Hard — are calibrated by the number of given clues and the logical techniques required to reach a solution.
Easy puzzles are solvable through straightforward elimination. Hard puzzles require deeper deduction. Every difficulty tier is internally consistent across the series, so you always know what you're picking up.
